You may have known this company by its famous car "McLaren F1" which was the fastest production car and it had hold that record for 12 years straight which was then broken by Bugatti Veyron but 12 years is really a long time. McLaren produces one of the best Hypercars in the world which are not just fast and quick like many other Hypercars but they are also good in handling.
One of the best thing which I like about McLaren is that they always keep innovating not just their technology but unique designs too. Their is always something new to see. McLaren keeps testing new materials and analyses billions of pieces of data to work out where further improvements may lie. This amazing spirit of unending improvement makes McLaren a really competitive car.
Like many other Hypercar makers, McLaren also produces only a limited number of cars which reflects perfection from every angle. Its a really exotic car and it's difficult to get your hands on one of these cars.
One of the example of McLaren's Innovation is the "McLaren Elva". This car has no roof, no windows and no windscreen . The car is able to still create a 'relative buuble of calm' which would be normally provided by a glass , by shaping the wind around the vechicle. Now, this is called true innovation which is really rare in today's world.
Many of the automobile manufacturers today , just keep copying others and make cars just for the sake of making money but this goal for unending innovation seperates McLaren from the crowd.
Its not just fast but also beautiful. There's simplicity in its design and all those curves in it gives it a smooth and clean look. Even the interior of a McLaren is filled with simplicity instead of a lot of buttons surrounding you and increasing its complexity. There is only the things which you need in a race car and rest all features you can excess through its display.
Its spoiler is designed to provide the drag force to the vechicle and also helps to stop the car quickly using the airbrake technology and a lot of other things to provide aerodynamics to the car.
Other than cars, McLaren also makes cartoon named "Toones" which features many of McLaren's past racers.
They also started a catering company named "Absolute Taste" for the McLaren Technology Center which has now become one of the most caterers in the buisness.
Then comes mobile phones. McLaren partnered with OnePlus to create some McLaren Edition limited smartphones.
They are also environment conscious. McLaren recycles more than 60% waste that it produces in daily activities. They also created a single car naming McLaren M23 which won a total sixteen grand prix victories between 1973 and 1977. McLaren was the first to create a fully carbon fiber car in 1981. Untill then the car manufacturers used carbon fiber partially only.
It uses powerful V8 and v12 engines generally, which helps it achieve 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds. McLaren might not be as comfortable to drive for long journeys because its made with the goal of speed and performance. It can give you the experience of high speed racing beyond limits which you can't get in a ferrari or Aston Martin. Its made to win with its great speed and handling. Their only goal is to keep improving and push it beyond limits.
