Can Tesla's "Bioweapon Defense Mode" protect People from Corona virus?

Hello everyone and welcome to this new blog. Today we are gonna talk about Tesla's Bioweapon Defence Mode and I will tell you if it can defend people from the deadly "Corona Virus".
So if you don't know about this new virus then let me tell you about it. Coronavirus disease is an infectios disease caused by a new virus that had not been previously identified in humans. It causes respiratory illness with symptoms such as cough, fever and in more severe cases , pneumonia.
There are about 80,000 cases of this virus currently out of which about 77,000 are from China alone. So, be safe and take necessary precautions to protect yourselves from this deadly virus.

Now, let's come back to our main topic. So, Tesla introduced this Bioweapon Defence mode into its cars with the idea that it would allow Tesla owners to survive any future attacks involving airborne biological weapon. You just have to push the button and then its massive air filter will filter out the harmful particals in the air like  bacteria, smog, viruses, etc.

It uses a HEPA air filter system which is 10 times bigger than the regular cars' air filter systems. This HEPA air filter system can remove 99.97% of fine particulate matter,  gaseous pollutants, viruses, bacterias, pollen, mold spores, etc and Tesla has stated that the Bioweapon Defence mode is 100 times more effective than the premium automotive filters. It can remove particles as small as 0.3 micrometres in size.

It has proven to be beneficial against the smoke and raging fires and people have been posting videos online of their Tesla's driving through areas with black smoke and raging fires.

But Michael J. Buchmeier, Deputy director of the Pacific Southwest Regional Center for Biodefence and Emerging Diseases at the University of California said that  “Now, if you’re worried about bacterial agents like anthrax or plague, a good filtering system would probably protect you.” But then he said "0.3 micrometre won’t hold back viruses. It will hold back most bacteria, but it won’t hold back viruses" 

So this tells us that Tesla's Bioweapon Defence mode may still not be able to protect you against this Deadly Coronavirus. But it can still reduce the chances of you getting infected by this virus with its massive filters and also, it can protect you from the other infectants in the air. So it's bettter Something than Nothing. As other cars don't even have this kind of technology currently.
