Don't Make the Mistake of Buying a Maserati

Today I am going to talk about this Italian car company "Maserati". Yes, you heard it right. It used to make great cars once like the famous Maserati MC12 and many others which were really extraordinary at that time but now Maserati is not that company which people once knew about.

In today's world, Maserati is like the worst Italian  car you can get, it may blind you by its modern looks but it's really old and complex from inside. Its like so complex that you may not even know about the functions of some of its buttons your whole life.
When you see it's pricing and then compare it with the features you are getting you may feel like Maserati is living in a world of illusion where they think they are like  "Apple Inc." of the automobile industry and they can charge anything they want. But you are not so great like Apple, so please come out of that illusion Maserati. Maserati looks like luxury outside and I gotta say that the looks are really impressive and the seats looks modern too but when you see the rest of it, you may think like you have time travelled back in time.

Let me tell you about some of its models. So let's sart with Maserati Granturismo which looks amazing in terms of looks . But do you know that uptill 2017, it has those dialer pads so you can type the numbers and call people in an era where you have mobile phones and cars like Tesla with huge displays. I don't understand that why they continued that. I mean people have smartphones and nobody remembers a ton of numbers like before, why don't they use a display instead.
There were no touchscreen instead an old fashioned infotainment system and the buttons are so complex that it may take months for you to get accustomed with that. Its pricing is like $153,000 in which you can get much better and luxurious cars with modern features easily.

Another thing about the Granturismo is that it didn't had a lot of features which is too common in cars like Blindspot monitoring, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, Cameras, etc and it still continues their tradition today. They can't even give such basic features. And this is not just with the Granturismo but all other models too.
Thankfully, Maserati finally started using touchscreen displays but the problem doesn't end here, those displays are so problematic and outdated. You don't feel like you are in an Italian luxury car.
Another thing about Granturismo is that it didn't had those usb connectors instead Maserati used old school ipod connectors and also they provided bluetooth to connect your phone which doesn't even work. Thanks Maserati for such a great service.

Then comes the little ashtray you get in it which is really small. Then the heated seats button which is not in the infotainment system but instead at the side of the seats with a rolling button about which many customers complained about that it's not easy to reach that button which is also present in other models too . So don't give such things Maserati if the people can't even use them properly.
But Maserati gives six cup holders in Granturismo and some other models which make me think like this car is all about those cupholders. There are like tons of problems about Maserati.
The only good thing about Granturismo is its Exhaust note which sounds pretty good and the fact that you can drive this car daily which a lot of other sports cars lack.

Now, let's come to Maserati Levante which shares a lots of problems like the heated seat controls are not in the climate control instead you have to touch the Maserati logo in the infotainment system where you find those controls but again their is another problem here which is that the Driver's and Passenger's seat controls are placed at opposite sides.
Next is the Gear lever which is really hard to operate and does not functions properly. If you wanna put it into reverse gear, it jumps onto the gear next to it which is a problem in other models too.
Next is the button for opening the tail gate which is placed in the ceiling right above the driver's head which is too odd and hard to find.
Then comes many of those missing features like Blindspot monitoring, radar cruise control, rear cross traffic alert, automatic stop and speed up, lane departure warning, lane keep assist and even parking sensors. That's really an odd tradition which Maserati has been following.
Maserati will never let you down in these things and it's complexities.
Next, thing about Levante is that it's back look is similar like Infiniti EX 35 and it costs twice that car. Also, a lot of buttons are just ripped off from Dodge and Chrysler which really gives a bad reputation about Maserati. So please be original Maserati.

There are only some good things about Maserati Levante which are its Exhaust note which sounds good. Then comes this feature which lets you lock the glove box from the infotainment system which can be opened using the pin number. Next is the driver's manual in infotainment system where you see the interior of the car and you can select any button and it will tell you what it is exept some buttons are missing there also ,so you can't know what they do like the on off button in its center console.
Also, its got good space to make yourself comfortable and the it's aggressive looks are really awesome but rest all good qualities are hard to find.

Then comes Maserati Ghibli which shares all those missing features problem and complexities but apart from that it's got a backup camera whose resolution is really poor. Also, many of the buttons are copied again from Dodge. Then there is a huge panel gaps in which you can easily fit a toothpaste tube which is a common problem in other models too.
Then, comes its rear windows which roll down like half the size of it and the controls in the ceiling when pressed, it shakes like plastic controls which feels really cheap.

So we can conclude that there are a lot of things to hate about Maserati and it's really a bad deal. Maserati is not Maserati  anymore. So please avoid this car and save yourselves from one expensive bad decision.
